What to Do if You Feel Harassed (Safety & Support)

Your safety on PlaylistFeed matters

PlaylistFeed is committed to providing a respectful and safe environment for all users. If another user is making you feel uncomfortable, threatened, or harassed in any way, there are clear steps you can take to protect yourself and get support.

1. Block the User

Blocking immediately cuts off contact from the other user.

To block someone:

  • Go to their profile
  • Click the “…” menu
  • Select “Block User”
  • Confirm the action

This will prevent them from viewing your profile, sending you requests, or interacting with your playlists.

2. Report the Behavior

Use the Report feature to notify our moderation team of harassment, abuse, or threats.

To report:

  • Click the “Report” button on the user’s profile or on the specific content
  • Choose the reason (e.g., harassment, threats, inappropriate content)
  • Provide any helpful details (optional but encouraged)

All reports are confidential and reviewed promptly.

3. Save Evidence (If Applicable)

If the behavior happened in a comment or submission message:

  • Take a screenshot
  • Include it if you contact [Support] directly

This helps our team take quicker, more accurate action.

4. Contact Support for Assistance

If you’re unsure what to do or the issue continues, contact [Support] directly. Our team can investigate, escalate, and take appropriate action — including account suspensions or bans if necessary.

5. You’re Not Alone

Harassment is never acceptable. We take every report seriously and will act to ensure PlaylistFeed remains a safe space for artists and curators alike.

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, mute, block, report — and reach out. We’re here to help.
