What Is a Curator Network?

A Curator Network on PlaylistFeed is a private submission system that activates when you Boost a playlist. It allows artists to request access to send music directly to your playlist.

How It Works

Once you Boost a playlist:

  • A “Submissions” button appears on your playlist page.
  • Artists can send a request to join your Curator Network.
  • You will receive a notification and can accept or reject each request.
  • Once accepted, that artist can submit music to your playlist.

This system replaces cold emails, DMs, and random submissions by creating a permission-based workflow.

Full Control

Curator Networks give you full control over your submissions:

  • You decide who can submit to your playlist
  • You only receive music from artists you’ve approved
  • Artists can’t spam your playlist without access
  • It keeps submissions relevant to your genre and taste

Curator Network Visibility

Your Curator Network is only visible when:

  • The playlist is Boosted
  • Your profile and playlist are complete
  • You haven’t disabled submissions or paused the Boost

Artists will only see the “Submissions” option if these conditions are met.

Managing Your Network

  • Go to your playlist page to view pending requests
  • Accept or decline each request individually
  • Remove users from your network at any time if needed

Important: You are not required to accept every request. Only approve artists who match your playlist’s sound.
