Troubleshooting Guide for Failed or Blocked Submissions
If you’re unable to submit your track to a curator, this article outlines the most common reasons and how to resolve them.
1. You Haven’t Been Accepted into the Curator’s Network
You can only submit music to a curator after your request to join their Curator Network has been accepted.
Solution:
- Go to the curator’s playlist and click “Request Access”
- Wait for the curator to accept your request
- Once accepted, the submission option will appear
2. You’ve Already Submitted a Track
Each curator network only allows one active submission per playlist. You cannot submit again until the previous one is accepted, skipped, or cleared.
Solution:
- Check your Submissions tab
- Wait for the curator to respond
- If your submission is skipped or accepted, you’ll be able to submit a new track
3. The Curator’s Network Is Full or Closed
If the curator has reached their submission limit or manually closed requests, you won’t be able to submit.
Solution:
Try submitting to another active curator or check back later to see if the network reopens.
4. Playlist Is No Longer Boosted
Submissions can only be sent to Boosted playlists. If the curator removed the Boost, the playlist becomes inactive for submissions.
Solution:
Find another curator with a currently Boosted playlist.
5. Invalid or Incomplete Submission
Your submission must include:
- A valid Spotify track link
- An optional but helpful short message (if the form includes it)
Solution:
Double-check the link and ensure it points to a valid public Spotify track.
6. Platform or Connection Error
Sometimes browser extensions, connectivity issues, or caching problems can block submissions.
Solution:
- Refresh the page
- Try a different browser or device
- Clear your browser cache
- Ensure you’re logged in to the correct account
