Playlist Not Showing Up (Troubleshooting)

Troubleshooting Guide for Missing or Invisible Playlists

If your playlist isn’t showing up on your profile, in Feed, Explore, or search results, this guide outlines the most common reasons and how to fix them.

1. The Playlist Has Not Been Boosted

Playlists must be Boosted to appear in Feed, Explore, or to receive submissions.

Solution:
Go to your playlist page and click “Boost”. Once Boosted, it becomes publicly visible across the platform.

2. The Playlist Link Is Invalid or Private

If you pasted a private, broken, or incorrect Spotify link during creation, the playlist may not display properly.

Solution:

  • Make sure the playlist on Spotify is set to Public
  • Double-check that the correct Spotify link is used
  • Edit the playlist on PlaylistFeed and re-paste the valid link

3. Playlist Was Not Published

If you created a playlist but didn’t complete the “Publish” step, it won’t be live.

Solution:
Go to My Playlists, select the draft, and make sure you click Publish after entering all required fields (title, tags, link).

4. You Reached Your Storage Limit

Free accounts are limited to 5 Boosted playlists. If you’ve hit your storage limit, new playlists won’t be visible until you remove or unboost an existing one.

Solution:

  • Remove a Boost from another playlist to free up space
  • Or upgrade your plan to increase your Boost/storage limit

5. Boost Has Expired or Was Removed

If you manually removed a Boost or your Boost expired (in time-based plans), the playlist will no longer appear in Feed or Explore.

Solution:
Reactivate the Boost from the playlist settings.

6. Tagging or Metadata Issues

Playlists with missing or incorrect genre/mood tags may not appear in filtered searches or Explore.

Solution:
Edit your playlist and apply accurate tags that reflect the genre and mood of your playlist.

7. Technical Delay or Sync Issue

In rare cases, playlists may take a few minutes to appear due to sync or cache delays.

Solution:

  • Wait a few minutes and refresh the page
  • Log out and back in
  • Clear your browser cache or try a different device
