Following a curator on PlaylistFeed allows you to stay updated on their activity and discover new playlists as soon as they’re posted. This feature helps you build connections and act quickly when new submission opportunities become available.
What Happens When You Follow a Curator
When you follow a curator:
- You get notified when they post a new playlist
- Their playlists appear more frequently in your Home Feed
- You can easily access their playlists and profile from your Following list
- You stay updated on new Boosted playlists that may accept submissions
Following is one of the best ways to stay connected to curators you care about.
How to Follow a Curator
- Visit the curator’s profile
- Click the “Follow” button next to their name or avatar
- Once followed, their future Boosted playlists will show in your Feed
You can unfollow at any time by returning to their profile and clicking “Unfollow”.
Notification Settings
By default, you will receive in-app notifications when:
- A curator you follow posts a new playlist
- A curator you follow Boosts a playlist and opens submissions
You can manage your notification preferences in your account settings.
Notes
- Following does not give you automatic access to submit; you still need to request access
- Following multiple curators in your genre increases your discovery and submission opportunities
