Troubleshooting Guide for Playlist Creation and Boost Issues
If you’re unable to create a new playlist or Boost an existing one on PlaylistFeed, this article outlines the most common causes and how to fix them.
1. You’ve Reached Your Storage Limit
Each account has a maximum number of active Boosts based on your plan.
- Free Plan: 5 Boosts
- Artist Plan: 50 Boosts
- Business Plan: 250 Boosts
Solution:
- Go to your Profile and remove a Boost from an existing playlist
- Or upgrade your plan to unlock more storage
2. Playlist Missing Required Fields
You must provide all required fields before publishing or Boosting:
- Playlist title
- Playlist caption/description
- At least one mood or genre tag
- A valid Spotify playlist link
Solution:
Double-check that all required fields are filled in. The Spotify link must point to a public playlist.
3. Invalid or Private Spotify Playlist Link
If the link you enter is broken, private, or incorrect, you won’t be able to create or Boost the playlist.
Solution:
- Make sure your Spotify playlist is set to Public
- Copy the direct URL from Spotify and paste it without edits
4. Technical Error or Outdated Browser
Browser extensions, slow connections, or device-specific issues can interfere with playlist actions.
Solution:
- Refresh the page and try again
- Log out and back in
- Try a different browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari)
- Clear browser cache and cookies
5. Boost Button Not Responding
If the Boost button appears but doesn’t respond, it’s likely due to:
- A pending payment step (when Boosts require payment or Storage)
- An expired session
Solution:
- Ensure you’re logged in
- Check for any upgrade prompts or error messages
- If using a paid plan, confirm your billing is active
